A 60-year-old retired man, Nagaraju, died on Monday after a suspected elephant attack during his morning walk near Mysuru Road. The incident occurred around 5 a.m. in Doddabele village while he was walking with his daughter. Although there were no eyewitnesses to the attack, CCTV footage captured an elephant in the area. Forest officials believe the animal came from the Bannerghatta Wildlife Sanctuary and are tracking it.
