Most NCP (SP) Lawmakers Back NDA Alliance Over Congress Merger

An internal survey revealed that a majority of NCP (Sharad Pawar) MLAs and MPs prefer joining the BJP-led NDA rather than merging with Congress. The party holds 8 Lok Sabha MPs and 10 MLAs. This potential alignment follows a massive boost to the ruling coalition, where NDA’s strength reached 318 Lok Sabha MPs after 20 rebel TMC MPs and 6 Uddhav Sena MPs joined the alliance.
