Former Bihar MLA Ranjan Tiwary, who was absconding for over two decades, has been arrested near the Nepal border. Apprehended by a joint team of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar police, Tiwary was wanted for opening fire on police personnel in Gorakhpur in 1998. The former politician carried a bounty of Rs 25,000 on his head.
