Madhya Pradesh's Sidhi district gets rail connectivity for first time

Madhya Pradesh’s Sidhi district has been connected to the railway network for the first time since Independence. On Saturday, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inaugurated two new railway sections spanning 118 km and flagged off the Devendra Nagar-Churhat train.
The line includes a 3.33-km-long tunnel and major rail bridges. The project aims to improve travel, boost trade, and create new job opportunities across the Vindhya region.
