Chennai Super Kings are set to release Prashant Veer, the ₹14.2 crore all-rounder, to free up funds for the upcoming mini-auction on December 16. Veer, a potential long-term replacement for Ravindra Jadeja, had a quiet debut season due to a shoulder injury. He was bought for a record-breaking ₹14.20 crore in the previous auction.
