ED reveals drug syndicates paid Myanmar suppliers using everyday goods

The Enforcement Directorate has uncovered a new method used by drug syndicates to pay Myanmar suppliers without transferring cash across the border. Cash from Indian drug sales is deposited into bank accounts to buy commercially available goods like fuel, groceries, clothes, and medicines.
These products are then shipped to Myanmar and sold locally to pay the drug suppliers. The finding follows recent multi-agency raids conducted across Mizoram, Assam, and Manipur.
