Indian-American Democrats Suhas Subramanyam and Aruna Miller won re-election in Tuesday's US midterm elections. Subramanyam secured a second term in Virginia's 10th congressional district with around 63 per cent of the vote.
Meanwhile, Democrat Pia Dandiya leads a close House race in Florida. However, Republican Vivek Ramaswamy lost the Ohio governor's race to Democrat Amy Acton.
Many other election races across the country remain uncalled.
