Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has ordered a forensic probe into audio clips released by Maratha reservation activist Manoj Jarange-Patil, alleging a BJP conspiracy to influence the 2024 assembly elections. The probe will examine the authenticity of the recordings and motives behind their release. Fadnavis cited calls for an inquiry and vowed to uncover the truth, amid denials from BJP leaders and allegations of a smear campaign.
