National Award-winning filmmaker Vinod Kapri expressed disappointment over the sudden cut in film screenings for Pyre, citing a lack of fairness. The film, released on October 30, initially showed on 80 screens but had its shows reduced to less than 100 in the last two days. Kapri urges theatre owners and distributors to reconsider their decision, feeling his film deserves a fair chance.
