Robin Williams' Napa Valley Estate Sold for $18.1 Million After Years on Market

Robin Williams' 640-acre Napa Valley estate, Villa Sorriso, sold for $18.1 million to two French winemakers, Alfred Tesseron and his niece Mélanie Tesseron, after being listed for $35 million in 2012. The sale took nearly four years to close, with the price dropping significantly over the years. The estate, which included a vineyard and various amenities, was named after its owner's desire to create a "House of Smiles".
