Allahabad High Court Questions 5-Year Delay in Noida University Audit

The Allahabad High Court has criticized Gautam Buddha University in Noida for failing to conduct an audit of its accounts since 2020. Justice Vikram D Chauhan termed the five-year delay a serious issue, emphasizing that universities run on public funds and require complete transparency.
The court directed the Uttar Pradesh chief secretary to explain the action taken against responsible officials. The state government must file an affidavit by November 2, or the chief secretary must appear in court.
