Parvinder Awana, a former India pacer, has been appointed chairman of the BCCI junior selection committee. Awana, who played 62 First-Class matches and took 191 wickets, was recommended by the Cricket Advisory Committee after a selection process.

The committee also includes Krishna Das, Rakesh Patel, and N. Arjun Yadav, who have extensive coaching and playing experience in India and abroad.
