Mangaluru Court Grants Bail to Priest Arrested for Abusing Minors

A Fast Track court in Mangaluru on Thursday granted bail to 65-year-old priest Cyprian Pinto, who was arrested on October 18 for sexually abusing minors. The arrest followed a complaint by a 14-year-old boy alleging the priest sexually assaulted him and harassed four other boys at St. Vincent Ferrar Church in June and August. The court directed Pinto to submit a ₹1 lakh bond, cooperate with police, and stay away from the victim.
