IMD Forecasts Heavy Rainfall Across South India For Six Days

The India Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rainfall and thunderstorms across southern India for the next six days. States including Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Karnataka, and Telangana are expected to receive downpours.
This weather activity is driven by fresh easterly winds and the remnant circulation of severe cyclone Murasu. Meanwhile, weather models suggest that another low-pressure system could potentially develop over the Bay of Bengal later in November.
