Sensex jumps 800 points as Indian stock markets open higher

Indian stock markets traded higher on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, despite mixed global cues. By 10:56 a.m., the Sensex rose 805.90 points to 76,498.68, while the Nifty gained 189.05 points to reach 23,629.85.
The market recovery was supported by falling crude oil prices and hopes of de-escalation in the Middle East. Meanwhile, investors are keeping a close eye on company Q2 earnings and the US midterm election results.
