Maruti Suzuki Q2 net profit falls 26% to ₹2,466 crore

Maruti Suzuki India reported a 26.36% decline in its second-quarter net profit to ₹2,466.1 crore for the period ending September 30. The drop was caused by rising input costs, adverse foreign exchange rates, and geopolitical tensions in West Asia. However, the carmaker's revenue from operations increased by 26% to ₹53,355.5 crore as total sales volume rose 26.5% to 6,96,654 units.
