Renu Desai Questions Continuous Label as Pawan Kalyan’s Ex-Wife

Actress and filmmaker Renu Desai expressed frustration on a podcast about still being defined only as Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan’s ex-wife. Despite divorcing in 2012 and building a career as a director, producer, model, and activist, she said the public ignores her personal achievements. Comparing her 14-year ordeal to Lord Ram’s exile, Desai questioned when people will stop reducing her identity to her past marriage and target her online.
