A woman police officer, Kavitha G.M., has filed a complaint against Pavithra, the wife of suspect Mohan Gowda, and her friend, alleging they assaulted her during a search at Gowda's apartment on October 23. Kavitha claimed her gold bracelet was lost during the scuffle, but was later found on the bed. An FIR has been registered against Pavithra and her friend under Section 132 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
