Financial technology giant Stripe has reportedly finalized a deal to acquire AI startup OpenRouter for more than $7 billion. OpenRouter, which allows users to access and switch between more than 400 different artificial intelligence models, was valued at $1.3 billion in May. The startup currently serves approximately eight million global users.
BJP MLA Sumitro Chatterjee, a descendant of Vande Mataram composer Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay, has demanded an unconditional apology from Congress leader Sonia Gandhi. Chatterjee alleged that the song's rendition was disrupted at the Congress headquarters during Independence Day celebrations. Union Home Minister Amit Shah also criticized the Congress, accusing the party of insulting the national song.
